Melt the butter in a pan, then add the minced garlic and cook until fragrant.
Add the ground beef, break it apart, and cook until it is 80% of the way cooked through.
Pour in the dark soy sauce, light soy sauce, and honey. Continue to cook until the sauce thickens and clings to the beef crumbles.
Serve the cooked beef over a bowl of fresh white rice.
Optionally garnish with sesame seeds and scallions, and top with a fried egg.
