Mix the flour, water, yeast, yogurt, and salt together and knead into a dough.
Once the ingredients are combined, add the olive oil and continue kneading until a smooth and pliable dough forms.
Cover the dough and let it rest in a warm place for about 60 minutes.
Divide the dough into four equal portions and shape each into a ball. Roll out the dough balls with a rolling pin into round, not-too-thin pitas.
Heat a pan without oil over medium-high heat and bake the pitas one by one for about 1.5 to 2 minutes on each side, until they are lightly browned and bubble up.
Wrap the finished pitas directly from the pan into a clean kitchen towel. This keeps the moisture in the bread, making the pitas nice and soft.
