Cook and chop the chicken, then set aside. Give it a quick salt/pepper/garlic powder, then sear on medium-high for 5-7min per side or until cooked through.

In the same pan, add all sauce ingredients and bring to a simmer. In a small bowl, mix the water and cornstarch to create a slurry, then stir the cornstarch slurry into the pan to thicken the sauce.

Add the chicken back in and simmer for 10–15 minutes until the sauce thickens and caramelizes.
