Slice the low sodium Spam into thick rectangles.
Dunk each slice of Spam into a seasoned flour and egg batter to coat.
Pack Japanese panko breadcrumbs onto the battered Spam until fully covered.
Deep fry the breaded Spam in hot oil until golden brown and crispy, then set aside on a wire rack.
Mix the cooked jasmine rice and sushi rice together. Press the rice mixture into a musubi mold to form a firm block.
Brush a simple soy glaze over the top of the rice block and sprinkle evenly with furikake.
In a small pan, melt the butter, then stir in the honey, hot sauce, and cayenne pepper to create the hot honey butter glaze.
Place a piece of the crispy Spam katsu on top of the seasoned rice. Drizzle with the hot honey butter, wrap with a strip of nori, and enjoy.
Cook it hands-free.
