Briefly place one lemon in hot water, then cut it into pieces.
Put the lemon pieces together with the egg, sugar, egg whites, and milk in a bowl and puree everything well.
Sift in the flour and baking powder and mix everything well.
Pour the batter into a prepared baking pan. Pour the melted butter lengthwise down the middle over the batter.
Bake the lemon loaf in a preheated oven at 180°C (top/bottom heat) for about 35–40 minutes.
For the icing, simply mix powdered sugar with lemon juice until a creamy glaze forms.
Coat the cooled cake with it and finally grate some lemon zest over it.
