Heat a large skillet with oil over medium-high heat. Add the ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spatula.
Drain the excess fat from the cooked ground beef and return the beef to the skillet.
Add the chili or taco seasoning, tomato paste, and water to the beef. Stir well and simmer until the liquid is absorbed and the mixture is thick.
Shred the cheddar cheese and add it to the warm beef mixture. Stir continuously until the cheese is completely melted and incorporated.
Lay out the flour tortillas. Scoop an even amount of the cheesy beef mixture onto the center of each tortilla.
Fold in the sides of each tortilla and roll them up tightly into burritos.
To store, wrap the burritos individually in parchment paper or foil and keep them in the fridge or freezer.
To reheat a frozen burrito, microwave it for 1 to 2 minutes, then sear it in a hot pan to crisp up the outside.
Cook it hands-free.
