In a large bowl, mix together the ground pork, breadcrumbs, water, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder until well combined.

Transfer the pork mixture to a parchment-lined baking sheet and press it out into an even layer. Score the meat into 6 equal rectangular patties.

Bake the patties in the oven at 400°F (200°C) for 18 to 20 minutes.

While the patties are baking, make the sauce. In a small saucepan, whisk together the BBQ sauce, ketchup, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, and apple cider vinegar. Heat on the stove for about 5 minutes.

Remove the cooked patties from the oven and brush them generously with the heated sauce. Return to the oven for another 5 minutes.

Toast the sub rolls in a skillet.

Assemble the sandwiches by placing a sauced pork patty on the toasted bottom bun, topping with pickle slices and sliced white onion, and closing with the top bun.
