Whisk the granulated sugar, brown sugar, oil, eggs, pumpkin purée, 1 tsp vanilla, and milk together in a bowl until smooth.

Pour the batter into a lined 9x5-inch loaf pan and bake at 175°C (350°F) for 50–60 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
